In the heart of Chinatown, this restaurant serves a variety of Vietnamese dishes for lunch and dinner. Clientele are predominantly tourists.
London Underground: Piccadilly Circus
Went to this "restaurant" last night for the first and last time. The food was awful and an entire set menu came out the kitchen in no less than 2 minutes which was a little concerning. The service was very rude and rushed. My boyfriend spent the night on the toilet when I wasn't vomiting in it. I can honestly say this was the worst meal I've ever eaten in my entire life. Please never go to this restaurant.
Oh lucky me to have been to the Vietnamese Restaurant. NOT. Quite simply put do not go here. Unless of course your idea of a good night out and 'authentic' Veitnamese food is MSG , congeeled and cold sauce with its own thick skin of (?) well at best sauce, as worse... *shudder*This is everything that Vietnamese food isn't. For a cuisine that is known for its FRESHness; vegetables, herbs and spices, with the emphasis on serving fresh - disappointment does not even come close to a description of the over salted , very overly garlic 'dishes ' that appeared on our table. Aside from the food the added adventure for the evening was the trip to the bathroom. For the ladies this is located adjascent to the kitchen. Oh goody! On this occasion there was not any loo paper, so upon asking my 'friendly' waiting staff I was given some paper towels 'fresh' from the kitchen and straight across the food preparation counter. As if the food isn't bad enough it seems that the hygeine is not exactly up to scratch either! On the plus side it is cheap. I should hope so too! And sit in the window (if only to leap out and to escape) there's a great people watching view of Wardour street and Les Mis theatre. So you can watch those people who are having a pleasant evening and perhaps get them to find you some decent food.
