  • 4 great atmos

Loved this place - great cocktail menu and food was lovely too. Its right in the heart of Soho for easy access to theatres or clubs. They also have a cocktail course for parties....

  • 5 Soho Cuban-Style!!

What a place!! It is totally unique in that it has its own live Cuban band and the atmosphere is unlike anywhere I've been. The mojitos are some of the best I've ever had, especially in London and the food is delicious!! Absolutely loved it and to top it off the service was brill! Can't wait to go back!!

  • 4 Good food and friendly service

This place has now been renamed "meza". It has a nice bar area with comfy seats and happy hour cocktail specials. The restaurant section gave a slightly more casual vibe than the bar. The menu consists of various tapas dishes as well as sharing platters and normal a la carte items. Service was friendly and warm, food arrived quickly (although we were one if the first people there). Will definitely visit again.

  • 1 AVOID THIS PLACE!

We had a ghastly experience at this awful place: despite having booked many weeks in advance we were given a lousy table on the periphery and were rushed through our meal so that a 2nd sitting could be accomodated. Over half the red wines on the list were unvailable! The starters are all pre-prepared and arrived within seconds of ordering and the main coures were decidely average but over-priced: it cost £300 for 5 people for 2 courses. Our waiter was nice, and frankly was embarressed about the wine situation, but the front of house staff had a 'couldn't care less' attitude.

  • 5 Flirting with 1950s Cuba...

Wow!Gorgeous people, impeccable and well-trained staff, music to move you and a drinks list to tempt even the most straight-laced of us. Floridita happens to have a very interesting history and if cocktails are your game, this Soho legend is the ultimate playground. Party the night away in style while bumping shoulders with talented and unpretentious salsa dancers. The menu is a modern interpretation of Cuban classics and for the serious meat-eaters, their new Carnivore menu consists of prime beef cooked to your preference.Book a table at the weekends or try to buy one of the sought-after booths facing the dancefloor after midnight for a truly fabulous drinks 'n tapas experience. A must-go for all fun-lovers who want something that little bit different with a touch of class and quality guaranteed.

  • 5 Cuban fabulous!

Highly highly recommended! What a fab place- nothing lets you down. I've been here a few times, some with partner and some with groups of mates, both were great nights. The food is superb. We had an octopus starter which we've never tried before and were very dubious, however, it was absolutely fantastic. One word of warning though, the food is not cheap- with a bottle of wine, we were looking at about £50 a head. But it was worth every penny. The cocktails are great- especially the mojitos! With a few of these down you there is not excuse for not getting up on the dancefloor. The live music is great. Slightly pretentious but all staff are extremely friendly. For a fab night out- this place is highly recommended and you'll be raving about it for ages!

  • 5 Lovely cocktails, great music

I would highly recommend this bar and restaurant just for the music, cocktails and vibe. I have not actually had a meal at Floridita, but have been on a Saturday for a drink and a dance and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is usually packed but there is always room on the dancefloor for someone who wants to dance to some lovely latin music, and there are always available partners on offer for the ladies, lol. Unfortunately when we arrived (elevenish) the band had finished playing, but we still had the incentive to stay on until 3 a.m. Drinks are great and a good price for the west end. Service was quick and thorough.

  • 5 Gorrrrgeous food!

I went to Floridita mid-week and so it wasn't too busy, therefore we got served very quickly. The food was amazing, really scrummy! And the cocktails were equally as yummy! The cuban band were great, but no dancing going on unforch!!

  • 4 Floridita Restaurant

Excellent place for entertainment value, and the food was fabulous, Cocktails to die for, the only bad point I would say is that the waiting staff at times can be a little slow hence four stars not five. For a great night out, I would recommend this to anyone..

  • 3 Fabulous cocktails and worth the money!

Pricey but delicious was apparently the theme of the night... the cocktails were excellent and the menu was obscene, there were so many to choose from. The music clearly didn't make much of an impact on me as I do not remember what they were playing, but there was plenty of seating and the service was acceptable.Really quite fun, all in all.
