The business says...Galicia Restaurant is a tapas bar located in wonderfully basic surroundings, popular with Spaniards and locals alike. Booking is advised, especially on the weekend. Catering for private parties of up to 30 guests is available upon request.
London Underground: Ladbroke Grove
I really love this place. The sangria is amazing - I don't know what they put into it, but it must be some sort of secret recipe...plus, it'the food is pretty darn cheap for tasty tapas. I try to come at least once per quarter.
This has to be the worst Spanish restaurant ever. If you cannot be polite, and you cannot cook, why would you want to open a restaurant? I can only think that it must be a scam relying on morons, simpletons and polite tourists too well-behaved to say anything. Maybe I am misled and this really is good Spanish food? Maybe pigs can fly. This is the type of restaurant that gives Spanish people a very bad name. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
This is the best Spanish restaurant in London. You step inside and suddenly feel like you have travelled in time and place and you are in a small Spanish bar in Esteiro - Galicia. None of that overdone flamenco and bull palava. Just the real people, the real food, the real atmosphere and the real prices. Amazing must try Pulpo, pimientos de padron and gambas al ajillo. Definitely a must.
