Brief business description

The Alexandra is a pub that serves a variety of beers, wines, spirits and Sunday roasts. Catering for private parties of up to 300 guests is available upon request and an upstairs bar area is available for private functions. serves snakebite

A lot of my friends go here once in a while to reminisce on being a student and drink that filthy concoction known as snakebite and black - lager, cider and blackcurrant, which is guaranteed to give you a massive hangover if drunk in sufficient quantity. It has a sort of saloon/ wild west feel to it. Although upstairs is a bit more pleasant/ classy and quite a nice place to get a load of friends together as it is spacious. Drinks prices are standard Clapham prices, not excessive. It is usually quite busy on the weekends with the typical graduate/young professionals that are typically found in Clapham.

Great pub for sport

The Alexandra Pub in Clapham is a great pub for sport. They show all the big games, whether it's football (or soccer for us Aussies) rugby or league or AFL. Massive screen upstairs with plently of seating.

Nice, basic pub

Pretty roomy, friendly staff and a pretty good crowd. They don't take plastic, so make sure you have cash. There are a couple of ATM machines just outside, though, in case you drink your way to the bottom of your wallet. Good choice of beers and there is a room in the back with tables that is a nice place to get together with friends.
