  • Fernhead Road Methodist Church A local Church for local people!

    Walking into Fernhead Road Methodist Church is in some ways like walking into any Church: daunting if you are unfamiliar with Churches! But Fernhead Road has a relaxed if slightly old fashioned feel. The minister is a middle aged white guy but the worshippers are mainly people who travelled from the Caribbean in the 1950's and 1960'sand their children and grand children. The preaching is usually at the liberal end of evangelical and the folks like people anywhere, a little shy at first but quickly make you welcome.
