Great work being done at Luxor, but, too many poor Donkeys and Horses being turned away, as, only a few Stables there to house them!. A much bigger peiceof land and building need to be bought in Luxor, and, near to the Tourists Centre, then NO animals will have to be turned away, and, have to suffer so much. I have just come back from Luxor, and saw, the big problem the Vets have there, as,to who can stay ,and who has to go back!, into their so hard inhumane little lives. Please,I beg of you all, take this idea on board, and get a place nearer toThe Nile, then, the tourists will go there in their housands, and donate loads of money!!!. I was able to go to the very small Hospital for injured Donkeys and Horses,in Luxor, and, was shocked,by the very few Stables available, and, the tiny size of them!!.The wonderful Vet there, had to turn away, the tiniest sweetest crippled Donkey, because he had to leave room for the near Fatal or fatal accidents coming in, all the time!!.My heart broke to see this little Donkey, being pulled about by 2 huge owners, the little one did NOT want to leave the Hospital, and, they literally dragged her out, please, somebody with lots of money, buy a bigger peice of land ,so that ALL the animals can come and stay for a rest ,and ,some loving much needed care. If there is a God in heaven, this person will read this urgent message from my heart, the truth of the awful situation, that, this wonderful Vet is in, is hard to bear, and MUST be spoken, about, not hidden, because, although wonderful work is being done,he needs more Stables, so, he does not have to turn any of these sweet, and so over worked beautiful animals away ,ever again!!

My name is Majella Ding and I was priviliged to be able to spend a day observing the work at the outpatients clinic at the above hospital.(I was on holiday in Luxor). Dr. Mina also gave me the details of case histories of the inpatients. The work here certainly helps to improve the lives of the hardworking donkeys and horses in the area. The free farrier service is just brilliant and contributes greatly to their welfare. I shall be doing my A levels the coming year and shall be applying to universities to study veterinary medicine. My visit to this hospital has been an inspiration and it is my wish to get involved in such projects in the future.
