The Fold Studios

At The Fold Studios, we offer several programs designed to stimulate young people with an interest in music and open up new avenues
to them:

Songwriting Workshops - These are run by our in-house songwriter Rokhsan Heydari, who has extensive experience in both private tuition and running workshops in schools. Aimed at younger children (8-12) the idea is that Rokhsan will work with a participating child on a one to one basis, writing a song together, while allowing the child to learn practically, about how melody, harmony, rhythm and lyrics come together to make a song. Once the song is finished, it will be produced in the studio and the child will be able to perform on the recording. They will then be given a mastered CD, as well as physical scores of their song which they will be able to keep as a memento of their time.
