I was asked by a very long standing client today what I thought about laser treated diamonds.He was offered a 3 carat diamond at a very low price and was tempted to buy it.Difficult one because I have never bought or sold laser treated diamonds.My personal preference,I told him,was to buy a natural diamond no matter what the imperfections were on that diamond.Specially if it was for someone near and dear.

If size was a consideration then I would go for fancy shapes that cost less than round diamonds.
