they have lost all my partners documents including her passport and put me though to voice mail every time i call. We too am making a complaint with the OISC. and seeking advise on how to take them to court. we went to the office and there two others pulling there hair out with other horror stories. 3 and a half hours later, after an afternoon of being lied to, we got to talk to the mangier who told us that he would personally look into it. but we are now it the same position of not being able to contact any who will give us answers and faced with the prospect of having to travel back to there office to hear more lies. DO NOT USE THEM
I found this company from google when we wanted to apply my wife’s visa. she was in India at that time. When I called the sales guy, he promised the application pack will be completed in three working days. And they will appoint a caseworker who will deal with me and my wife for collecting the documents and to prepare application pack. The sales guy said normally they charge £1600 but he will give me a discount of £800 if I choose them that minute. He called that as first call discount. This was a sales trick and the sales guy pushed me so much that i didn’t get much time to think. I have paid £160 as an initial amount, and the minute I have paid him the money, he changed his words that the application pack will be done as soon as possible (instead of 3 working days). He took my card details for the initial payment and I thought, like any other company they will not store card details given on the phone. The next day case worker called me she said she will appoint a legal advisor who will call me in 2 working days to review the case and they will either deal with my wife or with me not both and they will only deal with emails. This wasn’t what the sale guy promised. Moreover she gave me a list of documents (loads of them were unnecessary) to upload in to their client login area. It took us three days to do that and the legal advisor said she would not review these documents for 5 working days. Later they kept asking for more documents that were totally irrelevant. They were never picking up the phone, and they only reply to emails when it suits to them and they don’t care how much time you will have to wait. We were going through this for 3 weeks. I was fed up and written them to complete the application pack in next 3 working days or pay me my £160 back. Then they sent us a review, which was really poor asked for more documents and remaining payment of £640. So I have written them cancelling service and to refund my money. They never responded to my email or calls. Then I hired another lawyer who actually did the work with in 3 days for only £500. They never refunded the money £160 and after 10 days they have collected rest of £640 without my knowledge. I have written to my credit card company about all this mess and they are working on paying this money back to me. So my advise is don’t use this company, they will waste your time and money. The sales guy will force you to buy the service and calls always go to voice mail. Most importantly do not give your card details. I am also complaining to www.oisc.gov.uk
dont even bother with these people, not worth the hopes time or stress
I enlisted Global Visas for help with my visa application for the UK (from Australia) and I found them slow and unhelpful. As soon as I handed over my money, I was unable to get in contact with them and I had no idea what was going on. They were incredibly slow, and did not answer any of my specific questions. I did not feel confident that Global Visas had helped my case at all when I submitted my application. They are expensive, and I wished I had not used them. I still get automated emails from them; they seem to have no idea where my application is at, and they apply no personalised attention or service at all. They made my application process a lot longer than it needed to be, and certainly a lot more stressful. Do NOT use Global Visas.
Thank you for the posting on this website against Gloabal Visas. I am one of the people conned by them and I plan to try to get my money back. I plan to write to the oisc as well just amazed how your complaints didnt even get them a fine. I think that beside the oisc you should write to all the accreditation agencies they mention on their website and also to bbc watchdog, if you google that you will see this is a television program which investigates shams and companies conning people.. BBC will put your story on prime time television and this will bring lots of bad publicity for them which they deserve. I am planning to write letters to ALLL THE accreditation agencies they have on the website, plus THE OFFICE OF FAIR TRADING which regulates the way the companies operate, plus the BBC television plus you could contact with your story as well the tabloid newspapers in uk like News of the world, Daily Mail , the sun, they would be delighted to have a story like that on their hands. I am sure even if you send Global visas a letter telling them you are going to the newspapers you will get some refund. the more people will complain through the right channels like oisc.co.uk there is a bigger chance the company will be struck off for bad practices so we need to join forces and complain global visas make false promises of sucess to take your money and after the take your money even if you are not eligible they dont provide a refund they promise you sucess without checking your documents, READ THE CONTRACT THEY SEND YOU , THE CONDITIONS IN THE CONTRACT ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE TERMS OF BUSINESS ON THEIR WEBISTE. PLEASE COMPLAIN TO THE OISC.CO.UK, THE BBC, THE OFFICE OF FAIR TRADING AND ALL THE ACCREDITATION AGENCIES THEY MENTION ON THE WEBSITE
Acc. to Alexa, Global Visas has the most traffic, & it is supposedly one of the largest, if not THE largest visa immigration services in the world. I researched reviews online, & only found a few negative comments--all from India--& 1 or 2 positive comments. The Global Visas account manager was friendly & knowledgeable when I called their London office. So I hired them to help me sort out getting a Highly Skilled Worker (HSMP) visa to the UK. UNFORTUNATELY, Global Visas sr. case manager, Katarzyna Pasternyk, is disorganized, slow, & lacks any sort of empathy. She is unable to provide a roadmap of the application process, & two weeks after working with her, she has yet to tell me about the actual interview. She asks for letters from banks, employers & my landlord, but she does not give any letter samples or explain--what information they should contain, who needs to sign it, etc. The client must figure that out all on their own. I believe she tries hard, but her advice is confusing. In the last 2 weeks, I have spent about 50 hours on trying to contact Global Visas, trying to speak with Global Visas case manager Katarzyna, trying to understand what she is saying, trying to understand what I need & what the next steps are. I receive is a smattering of unintelligible comments written among my original questions (often without formatting that distinguishes where my email ends & Global Visas' comments begin). It's a simple question of knowing how to manage a project. Any event that requires a longer time to complete should be given adequate lead time so that all elements come together at the same completion date. Unfortunately, Global Visas sr. case manager Katarzyna Pasternak does not know how to do this. Example: I have bank accounts in the US, but I do not live in the US. After 1 1/2 weeks of consultation (I gave all my information on the first day), I was finally told that online bank statements were not acceptable, & that the bank statements needed to be original paper bank statements. My bank in the US is Citibank. To request a paper bank statement requires 2-3 weeks. They will mail it to your US address, but not your international one. You need to have someone receive it & re-send it to you. If I had known that from the beginning, I could have started right away on getting it. Better yet, Global Visas senior case manager Katarzyna Pasternyk should have been the one to advise me to do that. I am the client. Katarzyna’s response? Oh, just get the local branch to give it to you. They can’t? Oh, then ask them to stamp your printout of your online bank statement. She obviously doesn’t know that banks run independently of each other, country to country. I decided to email a formal complaint & requested a new case manager. I was told by Katarzyna Pasternyk's supervisor, Adrian Baxter, that he would only review my issue after I had filed a formal written complaint. I sent him a longer, more detailed complaint in a Word doc. Response from Adrian Baxter of Global Visas: "You hired Global Visas to assist you with your Tier 1 General application. We have provided you with advice & assistance in line with Home Office guidelines. ...I will not be able to reassign your case to a new Case Manager. I look forward to your response advising of how you wish to proceed." He did not offer any options. I replied to his email & requested to speak by phone. I WOULD go to his office, but I am not in London. He did not answer his phone any of the times I have called him, nor has he ever returned my voice mail. I have been waiting nearly a week for some response. It is possible that there are some really great people who work there. In fact, I'm sure of it, as I have never seen a company where there employees were all disagreeable. However, if you have the misfortune of getting an inexpert, disorganized, slow case manager at Global Visas, you will not have a proper channel to resolve your complaint.
