How rude were they?
I think it's probably a good idea to say the company name when you answer the phone, unlike this guy. It's also a good idea to be pleasant rather than really, really short with the customers, like he was. A goodbye is also appreciated. I didn't like it when after I'd said, "Thanks for your time" that the man just hung up.
