  • 5 Fantastic service

I really like Indian food! When I was growing up, mu parents would always insist on serving traditional british food. The most adventurous they got was spaghetti bolognaise or chilli con carne. Nothing else outside of England would ever be cooked or tried! I suppose this is why I really do like tasting the food of other cultures. Maybe a little bit too much, my waistline is really bulging! A vast amount of that bulge is down to the food served in the restaurant here, and also their take away. It truly is delicious food! I love coming here with friends, they are also so friendly

  • 5 Great indian food

This is one of my most favourite Indian restaurants for both a meal in the restaurant and for a piping hot take away! The staff here make you feel so welcome when you go for a sit down meal. They are attentive without being at your table constantly and you never have to wait long once you have ordered. The menu has all the usual Indian type dishes, lots of hot curries and lots of other things too, so everyone will be able to find something they like. When the food arrives it really has the most amazing aromas and tastes absolutely delicious! Amazing and first rate place!

  • 5 Authentic Indian

I wouldn't say that Zayka is the usual generic indian restaurant where the curries are over hot. They really do take care in creating each dish, and will cook to taste for the customer. If you don't want it too hot, just tell them and they will cook accordingly. This way you get to savour the taste rather than the hotness. Its well decorated for an indian and you do feel right at home - its so cosy! The service is really good and very friendly. Prices are also quite good considering what you get and the quality of the food. I loved it!

  • 5 Perfect

For both a take away and also a sit down meal, Zayka always delivers perfection every time. I first went there a year ago with a group of friends after a night out. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, i think thats what made the night so much more perfect for us! The food is the usual indian fayre, a huge choice, i never really know what most of it is so i plumped for my usual. I have to say its probably the best i've ever tasted. There is a wide choice though and veggies are well catered for. Prices are average for this type of meal

  • 5 zayka - means flavour in indian and sure it is

well well, i love hot curries the authentic way but the things is like mostly the indian curries that are made here in restraunts have a flavour to meet most peoples needs and are not very hot, however i wen for the rogan josh here and i absolutely loved it - tip i asked the waiter ofcourse requested him to make it hot, the garnishing was spot on wid a bit of lime and coriander and the meal looked good enuf to serve 2, i went in to ve it alone, was on a quick hunger pang, anyways comin back to zayka interiors are neatly done, the decor is pleasant but the food is top notch, if people can cook the lamb right they can pretty much cook anything right.. hope this review was useful to u, cheers bye bye

  • 5 Zayka

Friendly staff and delicious food, zayka is one of the best takeaways Ive ever had. NOt overly expensive and worth every penny the chicken Korma is, not the most adventurous curry, but amazingly good and comes with complimentary mago sauce, minty cucumber and mixed veg. The nan is always hot on arrival and the onion bajjis are pretty good too. Quick delivery time means you're not left hungry. They open at six but you may have to wait longer if ou order straight away, one of the best Indian take aways Ive had.
