Bunker 51 Laser Tag and Paintball Nuclear Shelter... It’s a Blast!

The creators of The Paintball Centre, Canary Wharf and The Hangar, O2 Arena are proud to present the most realistic and intense attraction yet. Hidden deep under The Raceway, Docklands, lies several hundred feet of themed playing fields. You'll be transported to the future where you'll join an elite special force team, receive your mission, gear up with the most technologically advanced equipment, and enter into the adventure of your lives as you battle it out to save the world from imminent nuclear disaster.Bunker 51 brings all the action and adventure you've dreamed of in video games to life!.The site is located directly under The Raceway, Docklands allowing customers to benefit from spacious changing rooms, hot showers and free lockers. Sessions run for 2 hours with a 30 minute mission breifing beforehand where you will be kitted out in a special ops uniform with all your tactical kit.Each player is given two technical pieces of kit before play begins. The first item is a body vest that is worn by the player over the shoulders and covers the upper body. The second is the laser gun. The gun fires harmless laser beams of infrared light that upon hitting the sensors on an opposing players vest make their vest vibrate and play an explosion sound effect.Your target throughout the game is to score as many points as possible by shooting members of the opposite team.Laser Tag is completely harmless and you don't feel a thing when you get hit apart from the vibration created by the armour vest. For this reason it is great fun for all ages! (6 years and over.)Our standard game invoves two separate teams. These teams are designated differing coloured laser guns and vests. Each player has his or her own electronic score chart. Every time they hit an opposing player they gain a certain number of points. These points are then totalled up at the end of the game and the team with the highest number of points scored wins!

The Paintball centre is an accredited member of UKPSF providing customers with added security that we are a safe site in line with official health and safety regulations. The UKPSF is a voluntary body and exists to promote the sport of paintball, liaise with government bodies, local authorities and try to make the game of paintball safe and fun to play.
