  As of today (03/07/08) I am still awaiting contact from Mark reynolds, I have had no communication nor money back for the purchase of two Bon Jovi tickets! how is this allowed to happen?! Does anyone know anymore about the situation? Cheers

  I orderded 2 tickets in Oct 07, thru google for VIP seats for Cliff Richard @Birmingham for Nov 08 concert,paid more than normal,was going to be last show we go to as we both hit 60 next year!!!!! Lost £214.No chance of good seats now.First & last time I've ever booked thru internet!!!!! Margi.

  I bought 3 tickets to Bon jovi last november as it was with google we contacted them who with our bank we have a good case to get our money back . Anyone who bought tickets this way (check bank statement it should say eliteticket,Google.com) please do contact google and good luck to everyone

  I booked 2 tickets for Bon Jovi at Hampden on 21st June, started getting suspicious when Ive receivd no communication from them. Did a search and found this! Im disgutsed that this has been allowed to happen! Ive just had to fork out another £100 for tickets from a genuine sourch which i wish id done in the 1st place. Will I get a refund as I paid by credit card?

  I had tried to call Eite today and wondered why the message ' this number has not been recognised' kept coming up. I grew a little suspicious when Directories couldn't find them listed under the address on the Invoice of sale I have. I then decided to come in and look at their website and have just found this. I'm stunned!!! We paid £130 for 2 x Bon Jovi, Hampden tickets for next Saturday. paid by credit card so I'm going to phone them and see if I can do anything. Also gonna contact Watchdog and anyone else I can think of.... I'm so angry! Does anyone have any update on the crooked company, getting their money back, or where we can now get 2 legit tickets for next saturday at Hampden? MANY THANKS

  Mark Reynolds of Valentine & Co. Could someone tell me why this company was given the appointment of Liquidator to the Elite Ticket Shop. The Elite Ticket Shops registered address at Companies House is 4 Dancastle Court 14 Arcadia Avenue London N3 2HS. Ring a bell to anybody. Valentines address is the same. Is something not quite legal going on here. Notice Valentines were paid £10,000 in respect of the preparation of the Statement of Affairs and the convening of the meetings. The Liquidators remuneration to be fixed according to his time costs. But how is it that the Liquidator has the same address as the Liquidated company ( and I dont mean business address, but registered at companies house address. Its about time this matter was sorted out once and for all. I for one think something fraudulent has happened here. So why is nobody taking responsibility. And what has happened to the thousands of pounds they took from the unsuspecting public, knowing that there would never be any tickets. FRAUD FRAUD and more FRAUD.

  i bought 2 tickets for bon jovi and only found out they had went bust when i went to email abt my tickets. after reading some of the forums on their web page i notice the company owner is getting the money back he's put in, what abt all of us thats lost hundreds. its a disgrace. they should pay us out b4 he gets his money, after all its his own fault. bawbag!!!!!

  I wrote a letter to Valentine and co and recieved a letter back dated 7th May 2008, this is what I got back, started off just bascially thanking me for my letter then: I have every sympathy for the customers of the company and can appreciate the disappointment and frustration tghe matter has caused. Please rest assured tat te issues raised by custmers are being taken seriosly and will be reported to all the relevant authorities as appropraite. It is with regret I must advise you that customers of the company who did not recieve and made advance payments for tickets by means of debit card, cash or cheque have lost their money. Such customers will have an unsecured claim against the company. Unfortunately, from my intial investigations, it would appear that the comapny is substantially insolvent and will be unable to repay any of it's debts. Customer who made purchases utilising a credit card should, in the first instance contact the relevant card issuer as tere may well be some prospect of recieving a refund from the card issuer. It is intended tat all future reports for creditors will be posted on the website www.insolvencynoticeboard.com/eliteticketshop. That was from a Mark Reynolds, Liquidator of Elite Ticket Shop ltd.

  I paid over £400 for two Celine Dion Tickets and Two Bon Jovi Tickets for concerts in Manchester. I was absolutely gutted to receive the letter from Valentine & Co telling me they had gone bust, especially as when I booked the tickets I rang to check when they would arrive and was told within 6 weeks of the events!!! I haven't even been able to talk to anyone on the helpline as it seems permanently engaged. I contacted Watchdog (heard nothing) and Trading Standards. I paid by credit card and the cc company are investingating - so i hope I may get a refund. I couldn't afford to rebook the Celine Dion tickets as the prices were way to high which was terrible as they were a present for some of my family. I managed to rebook Bon Jovi on Viagogo but I'm now really nervous as to whether I'll get these tickets at all!

  I have been trying to find out any information about elite ticket shop since they had sold me tickets for a Celine Dion concert and I had not recieved the tickets. My bank has traced the bank draft to an account in Midland Bank in Wimbledon SW19 with the account number "085083549" Sort Code "40-07-30". This information is here for anyone who would feel it any importance to them. This is the last I can trace of my money I gave them for the tickets. Still had no luck getting a refund and would like to hear from any one who has.

  As we bought our tickets through Google we're asking them for the refund-I understand some have had refunds this way and that Google stopped 'selling' tickets with Elite in late November. Effectively Google were paid to pass on the funds to Elite,so in our case Google took on our business so.....

  We "bought" tickets for Celin Dion in Manchester as a Xmas present for our family. I can't say how disappointed myself and my family were to receive a letter from the liquidators, not only stating that Elite Ticket Shop LTD had gone bust, but that we would not be able to get a refund. Have spoken to the liquidators "helpline" - No help at all. Credit card company weren't much use either, making it very difficult to claim anything back via my so-called credit card insurance.

  Just thought i would let you all know, that i went to my bank to see if they could refund £110 for celine dion tickets which we purchased using a cheque, my bank was very helpful and refunded the money. So check with your bank as all may not be lost...good luck..

  Having read the report on the internet, it appears this company only started trading in September 2007. The director is blaming everything on Google suspending their comany's merchant account for the collapse of the company. He can blame who he likes but lots of people of lost a lot of money buying tickets that did not exist! Surely he has committed a crime? The director has provided a list of 1,700 consumer creditors which have a total claim of £436,000!!!! These tickets agents need regulating by the government so any ideas anyone out there how we can make this happen???

  I ordered tickets with them last November after being referred to this agency through an official site! Paid 97 pounds. Since they did not reply to my emails and when I finally got through on the phone and the person on the other end seemed very unfriendly I started to question if I would ever receive my ticket. Last week, after a google search, found out they are out of business and that most people received a letter. I didn't since I live in Holland. I paid with creditcard and immediately informed my cc company. Explained what happened and with a little luck I will at least get my money back. I was upset though since I already booked hotel and flight, luckily I came across a couple of very nice people who happen to have tickets already and are willing to keep one for me. I know these people so I don't have to worry about a new scam.   Since my previous review stating I had lost £150 for 2 tickets to see Celine Dion I have been in touch with "Watchdog" and hope that as other people have also been in touch with them they are investigating this matter. I have e-mailed two national newspapers and have heard nothing! Also written to my MP, so far nothing! This is all so frustrating! Have read on the "Watchdog" site that in 2007 Tessa Jowell MP promised that the government were committed to protecting consumers from unscrupulous ticket touts and it made recommendations for ticket brokers to become self regulated. How that would help goodness only knows!! I made sure that Elite Ticket Shop had premises and thought they would be ok to use, how are we to know who to trust? Couldn't they set up a body like travel agents have with ABTA? Last year londonticketmarket were taking money from people for concert tickets but they were not receiveing these tickets and not being refunded the money either. I paid £150 to Elite Ticket Shop with my debit card so now they have my details and lots of other peoples to! These "agents" must be committing a crime but I am told the police cannot investigate unless they are still selling tickets. I am now very apprehensive about buying concert tickets!!

  I paid £1,400 for four supposedly front row tickets at the M.E.N arena for Celine Dion. we tried to pay by card but the machine was broken, we sent a check and was recently informed that the business went bust! NO REFUND NO TICKETS well and truely pissed off and miss out on this once in a life time concert! TOSSERS! anyone want to take this further with me????!!!!

  Went to X factor at NEC last night ( which was brill by the way Nikki stole the show with a Celine Dion song) Spoke to others whilst purchasing more Celine Dion tickets at the N.E.C. box office who have been scammed by Elite tickets for a lot more than the 400 we have lost for the Osmonds and Celine Dion. The N.E.C. box office say that the seats we would have been in have been sold for ages and not to Elite tickets but members of the official Celine Dion fan club ( V.I.P. tickets ) front block seats. After delving around the net and having an e.mail from someone very aggrieved it appears that Elite are still selling tickets under another alias which I have this morning passed on to the Met to see what they can do about it.
