About Us

Brief description

Make Existing Heating Work Like New Cover London & Home Counties. Call for a Free Inspection 0800 731 7939 Connect Powerflush machine and powerful Magnet filter to central heating system pipe work by either removing the central heating pump or a radiator. Flush the whole system without removing any additional radiators. Powerflush machine set up so water flows from the radiators to Magnet filter, collecting all the iron oxide sludge, before reaching the boiler to minimise debris entering boiler heat exchanger. Rust remover chemical (normally phosphoric acid based, an ingredient in Cola drinks and why a rusty coin is cleaned by Cola) added and boiler turned on. Radiator surface temperatures measured using Infrared Thermometers to detect cold/rust spots. By concentrating flow through individual radiators and vibrating the radiators the rust spots are removed. One by one radiators, heating coils and all pipe work are flushed with clean water until water samples tested using electronic TDS (cleanliness) and pH Meters show clean and neutral readings. Small amount of Neutraliser is added to compensate for residual chemical cleaner, then Rust Inhibitor is added and circulated throughout the system. The Powerflush machine is removed and central heating system reinstated. Heating is turned on and the radiators are Balanced to optimise system efficiency. http://www.pflush.com

  • 2 Not our problem

We had our boiler serviced by British Gas and after that they said that the boiler was working fine but that the lack of heat at the far end of the flat would be cleared by powerflushing. Enter Albert from powerflush who to be fair worked from 8 till after 3 (4 cups of tea aside) on the flushing. When this was finished there was very little difference to the state of the heating but that this was caused by a problem in the boiler and so not their problem. (The ink on the British Gas service all clear report was still drying). We were also left with one radiator that was not turned back on correctly and when I did this I then had to bleed the air out before it started workig again but doing this casued the boiler to fail. They have left us in a worse position than we started. Our heating wasn't great to start with now stops working unless it is running 24/7 but this is my problem and not theirs. I called British Gas and they are coming back to sort out the problem. I am kicking myself for not going with British Gas to Start with - saving £100 going with Powerflush was a bad choice. The viseo on their website is total spin and not linked to reality. A big wet patch in the hall radiator will testify to that. Avoid this company unless you like excuses and poor results. Not happy at all

We used this company to Power flush our boiler system. Prior to their involvement we had hot water and central heating but the system was noisy and we were advised by our local corgi registered plumber that we needed the system flushed. They passed us details of this company who subsequently flushed the system and charged us £799 for the privilege. Within and hour of the powerflush engineer leaving the property we had no hot water and no central heating, the system was still noisy and worst still at 5am the following morning my 7 year old daughter was awoken to find water pouring through her ceiling as the engineer had not correctly reattached the pipes which lead to the water tank in the attic. The ceiling is damaged and needs to be repaired and redecorated. A week later we still have no hot water, intermittent central heating , a noisy system and a damaged bedroom ceiling. Following many telephone calls Powerflush (albeit very reluctantly), sent two engineers back to our property to try and remedy the problem. The first engineer - who was in fact the same individual who flushed the system and caused the leak - managed to get the heating back on, albeit briefly, but not the hot water - which he didn't even check. Their second engineer, admitted that the first engineer hadn't investigated the problem properly and although he subsequently managed to get both water and heating back on neither are now working. Powerflush are effectively denying liability and saying that any difficulties we have relate to existing problems which they claim are inherent with our boiler system. Our logal corgi registed plumber is appalled at the level of service we have received. 1We have found the company, Power Flush Ltd, and specifically their MD, extremely unprofessional and they have now said that they will not be returning to rectify the problem. We are therefore left with little option but to issue proceedings for the recovery of the £799 fee, and associated costs in getting the system working properly once again, together with the remedial cost of the work to the bedroom ceiling. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
