Imani Natural Hair & Beauty

I have used Imani Natural for about 2 years (and my husband has too). We find the quality of service second to none. She is a friendly and professional loctician. Many salons claim to use 'natural' products, but when checking the labels (as we always do) it is found that they are not natural at all. Imani knows the meaning of natural and actually makes most of her products herself including a herbal rinse. We are very particular about who we let do our hair and Imani is the only salon we will go to. Everything is natural and the hair washing is absolutely amazing! I was there just yesterday and she spent about 1.5 hours washing and massaging my head!!! just heaven. I have long and extremely thick locks which she always makes look great. Before I went there my locks were fuzzy, but now I often get comments about how good they look. It is very good value as I pay only £45 including styling. I would recommend anybody to Imani anybody, if you are just starting your locks, or you need repairs or your locks are down to your knees! Just get yourself there - you won't regret it ;-)

I attended Imani Natural evening of 11th June to have my hair interlocked/palm-rolled. I have been locing for just under a year so my hair, whilst now fully loced, is still a bit unruly. I found the service provided by Imani extremely accommodating. To begin with she was prepared to do my hair after I finished work which meant I didn't actually get to her until approx 6.30pm. She consulted with me in the first instance and we talked through what I wanted and what would work best for my hair. I was given the most amazing head massage with essential oils (helps to stimulate) growth. I felt that Imani did a really good job and I found her pleasant, informative and willing to share. I will definitely be going back.

Appalling unprofessional service. Appointment was at 1:00pm, when I arrived shop was closed. After waitig 20 minutes in the rain I contacted owner who said she was doing some personal stuff and told me to wait in cafe. She arrived at 2:00pm. No remorse. No price lists - she priced according to how long job took and quality of hair!! I was charged £100.00. My hair was left looking fuzzy, and started coming out the following day. My locks lasted less than a week. I was ripped off and received an extremely unprofessional service. I have since had my hair locksed up by a professional for less than half the price.
