• Unreliable Removal/delivery Service

  I needed to move some furniture into flat and i had asked for Global removals to help. They sounded quite friendly on the phone and you would have thought they they would do a great job. we arranged to meet at 3pm but Global Removals arrived at 3.40pm!!(40 minutes after they were due to arrive!!) i had taken time off work and i did not receive any calls regarding any delays. They arrived and seemed quite friendly but looked extremely unprofessional. We arrived at my flat and the furniture did not fit into the space except if it was dismantled. They had no tools to take the furniture apart, they seemed rather unprepared and Fidgety. They were also in a rush claiming that they had another appointment booked. It was only then that they told me that they had come from outside London. I paid them their fee and they promised that if i needed them to return they would. It was after they left that they had broken a part of the furniture and had nad not told me!!! A few days later i called them and asked that they needed to come back and dismantle the furniture as they said they would. My call was received by a very rude man who insisted that because their office was outside London they would not be able to come down except i paid them and an extra amount which was 75% of the original charge of £80. I would never use Global removals again because of the rude manner i was treated after they had not delivered to my furniture to my address as agreed. I had to pay another company more money to get this done. In the end i have spent two times more than i should have for moving one piece of furniture!!!! this is all because i used Global Removals who claim they have Competitive prices!!! Please be warned , if you are brave enough to use their service, check that they have all their tools and that you get the work done in one go as they wont be coming back for less than a 75% increase in their charges
