Set in High Road House, High Road Brasserie serves food all day, offering an eclectic mix of cuisine's in stylish surroundings.
I have been here twice now, the first time for cocktails and last night for dinner. The place has a great atmosphere, busy on both occasions without being overcrowded. The cocktail list is interesting and the barman really knows what he is doing. Food wise we shared a chateau briand which was perfectly cooked and the accompaniments were delicious. The waiters were attentive and not over bearing. The bill... burnt a bit of a hole in the wallet but no reason to complain for what was a wonderful evening.

I love this place so much I'll find hard to put into words. The only thing wrong with this place is that it's in Chiswick - in otherwords it's not my local. I've been here several times and each time i leave happy and content. To get the best of this place go in the colder months when the menu has the best comfort food you could hope for. To get a sense of the place, think cashmere loungewear. Cosy, comfortable and a little romantic.
Been on several occasions and always enjoyed. The food is perhaps a bit overpriced for what it is - good but not much better than many pubs nowadays - but more than made up by the atmosphere, service and good wine. Very Gallic
It's busy and can be quite noisy, but the food and service are both good. I've been there a few times now and haven't been disappointed.

West London is a buzz with news of the latest hip place to dine - the High Road Brasserie in Chiswick. The brasserie is part of the swanky High Road House, which contains a boutique hotel and members club upstairs, and the stylish brasserie and Cowshed shop on street level. The brasserie is open to the general public, and is an attractive place, with its pillars and mirrors, deco-style lighting and colourfully tiled floor, and service is as slick. It was busy on the Friday I visited for lunch, and the phone didn't stop ringing the whole time we were there (which was a little annoying!) with others wanting to check out what all the fuss is about. The food menu has something for everyone - lighter meals like sandwiches, salads, pastas and burgers - meats such as aged steaks and suckling pig - a big selection of fresh seafood and some very tempting big seafood platters (I shall be going back for dinner!).For lunch I had the Chicken Club Sandwich, which was served with some very delicious shoestring fries, while my friend had the Pea & Pecorino Risotto which she really enjoyed. Her young son chewed on some crusty bread and seemed to be pretty impressed by the place, as was I.
