  • The Riverside Nice atmosphere but slightly overpriced

As there are only a few bars in the area, the Riverside appears to be the main hangout for most workers nearby. On a Friday afternoon it can get quite busy and expect long waits at the bar for service. The food & drinks are slightly overpriced but you do get a nice river view if you sit in the outdoor area.

  • The Riverside Pretty good food, pretty poor service

The food is good quality, but a touch expensive for what it is and I have found the service to be very variable - sometimes good, sometimes very poor.

  • The Riverside Nice place

Good place, not bad for food, although a little over priced. Probably a good spot in the summer! Nice heated and covered outdoor area for smokers!

  • The Riverside The best bar in the area...

...but that's not saying much! Plus points are the great location by the river, with loads of outside seating; a nice, modern interior; and friendly staff. The food is quite good, but is overpriced (the lunch specials are slightly better value), the drinks are also overpriced and the service both for food and at the bar is slow. To be honest, if there were more bars in the area, I probably wouldn't choose to go here here so often - unfortunately there aren't.

  • The Riverside The Riverside Vauxhall

The riverside is quite a new bar in Vauxhall and one of the only decent bars around. Gets very busy on a Friday night, the bar is too packed and service gets very slow. But, they serve some pretty decent food and the burgers and pizza are always winners!

  • The Riverside great place

i have never been here during the summer but would guess it would be really nice in the afternoons and the evenings as they have a nice open space outside. you get a nice crowd on friday evenings though there is little else outside.beers are priced ok, but the whiskey is more expensive than anywhere else. Also there is a tesco and a cash machine at hand just around the corner

  • The Riverside Its Friday, Its the Riverside!

Phil G. Friday night Drinks Its Friday, its 6:30, this is where you will find me, along with many other thirsty people. The place has a nice location next to the river, will be great in the summer, the drinks are overpriced and the service gets slow when busy, but they are always friendly. The food again is overpriced but good.

  • The Riverside Nice view, good food, good crowd--a bit remote

The Riverside is interesting in that it is in an area where not much else is going on. Its location in a large and up-market development with several office buildings nearby produces a good crowd, especially in evenings toward the end of the week, but if you aren't from the area there isn't a lot else around to draw you. The Riverside itself has good food, good service and a pretty good crowd. There is a large outside area with plenty of tables and it sits right on the river, so there is a great river view--especially at sunset. It can be a bit tricky to find, because it is inside the development, but worth looking for. The only thing that prevents me giving it five stars is the fact that not much else is around.
