• Fulham gastro-pub

  Classic gastro-pub but with a little extra TLC. On a couple of occassions my ozzie relatives befriended the owner, who was friendly and welcoming.A nice low key feel, with an odd assortment of old wooden tables that adds to the homely atmosphere. There is little drinking room in The Butchers Hook, so almost everyone is there to eat. The little drinking space that remains is quite civilised.Some of their specialities include pot roasted game, creamy risottos and an assortment of deserts including rather a good apple crumble that is served on a mini baking pan...an extra scoop of rum and raisin ice cream doesn't go amiss...All in all, food I would return for.Only downside is that it is quite noisy and difficult to hear each other speak...oh and it gets quite full so you may want to reserve.

• A quality bit of food or drink

  Butchers Hook is one of the best drinking establishments in the vacinity, it has very helpfull and friendly staff, and a fantasticly varied menue of good quality food.The Chocolate Fondant was exceptional. Id recomend it for just a drink, or a full meal. its very atmospheric, relaxed and not overpriced.

• A Great Place For A Drink!

  The Butchers Hook is a nice little bar/restaurant opposite the Chelsea football stadium. Lively Atmosphere, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The food is good if you are a fan of the adventurous menu, but not recommended if you fancy something simple...
