E & O is a buzzing trendy eaterie with a minimalist decor that is popular with celebrities and serves a variety of gastronomic delights with influences taken from Thai, Chinese, Malaysian and Japanese cooking. Booking is a must, and catering for private parties of up to 20 guests is available upon request. They also have a bar area located at the front of the restaurant which is open to non-diners. E & O was voted the Readers Favourite Restaurant in 2003 by Tatler Magazine.
Perefct in every way... Never had a bad evening, always buzzy and yet if you wait you can usually find somewhere to sit fairly quickly. A great date place with delicious cocktails...
E & O is one of the best restaurants in London and certainly the best in Notting Hill. It is hard to categorise but lies between dim sum and Asian fusion, with Japanese influences and a menu heavy on seafood. The blackened cod is unbelievable - Nobu's is good but this is better. The rest of the menu changes quite frequently. The cocktail bar is lively and the staff very professional; the restaurant is buzzy and suitable for business dinners with people you already know; it is neither discreet nor quiet. The wine list is not extensive but the wines they have complement the food well. E & O is expensive but you get what you pay for.
I like the dark wood decor in this place. Haven't checked out the restaurant, but apparently the Dim sum's good. The cocktails are very tasty and generally it has a cool relaxed atmosphere.

Trendy Bar serving delicious cocktails (fruity martinis and great Caipirinhas) and small dim sum bites to tease your appetite. Funky tunes (although the volume is a bit low for my liking)Separate restaurant area serving a wide selection of tasty dim sum dishes- chilly squid is really good!! (prices are a bit spicy)Cool place for a Sunday dim sum brunch – early Saturday cocktails to kiff off your evening or a relaxed night out.
