  I sent a request for a quote on a design I had in mind and was told that it would not be possible in the timespan I wanted, instead it would take 8 weeks. The email finished with a note explaining that because I was going to buy the main diamond in Antwerp, "and our price may be prohibitive anyway. I am offended at the assumption that I was apparently not prepared to wait for 8 weeks and more importantly the suggestion that their prices may be out of my league. FYI my budget for this 1 carat ring furnished with many smaller diamonds, ring made from either 18k white and yellow or platinum, was approx £10-12'000. Its a shame people try to look down on others. At least I know the other reviews on this site are most probably fake now. My simple advice is: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

• What you see is what you get

  I search for a bespoke jeweller, found daniel prince and visited them the next day. We went through my requirements and budget. They designed a unique ring for me with a 2ct diamond and I picked it up in my lunchtime 4 weeks later. It needed resizing afterwards but that was free, I am well pleased, I never usually get lucky but I think I did when I clicked on their name in google. Now I tell everyone.

• Exceptional Quality, These guys are stars

  I wanted to buy my girlfriend an engagement ring but I wanted something that was unique. I didn't want to simply buy the biggest diamond from the cheapest website. I really wanted something special, a future heirloom that expressed my unique love for my wife to be. There was only one choice, it had to be bespoke. Designed just for me and handmade just for her. Quality speaks for itself and Daniel Prince of London is in a league of their own. We had a private uninteruppted consultation where I explained my requirements. Daniel put together a tailored proposal for me and my budget. Shortly afterwards I was shown a selection of diamonds that were handpicked just for me (Daniel Prince dont have a stock of diamonds, they choose the best diamond for your budget). I was a little surprised but quickly understood that buying diamonds is all about seeing. You simply cant buy a diamond online using the 4Cs, I dont care what those bucket shops say... I was shown a beautiful hand-drawn sketch showing their artists impression of my unique ring and once we'd agreed on the diamond selection and the final draft of the sketch, I confirmed my order with a 50% deposit. Around 2 weeks later I received the package at my desk (my colleagues at citibank asset management were gawping in awe when I opened it!). Sheer perfection, sheer class, absolutely unmistakable quality. Of course, she said YES! :), so thanks guys!
