Villa Bombay

i've eaten some hundreds of indian meals over the last thirty odd years but i've rarely had to suffer such an array of poor food as the rubbish i had from this restaurant. the chicken tikka masala should be renamed,"pink coconut stuff with tough chewy blobs" left a nasty after taste. chicken curry was barely edible so tough was the meat. the rice,both plain boiled and pilau came as a solid compact lump perfectly suitable for the foundations of a house. the naans were absolutely tasteless sheets of vulcanised wheat product. cauliflower bhajie tasted like the principal flavour was bolied cabbage water. its a great pity that this place has no local competition as they would quickly go out of business,to the great relief of the locals no doubt. i'm almost ashamed to go to the trouble to register to post this review but if just one person reads it and heeds what i have typed then it was all worthwhile.
