  • 5 What a cool place!

What a cool place to have a restaurant! You really would not expect such a high class dining experience at a location like this! I think the location adds to the excitement, you really don’t know what to expect and also due to the location, it is probably why they aren’t that expensive considering the quality and quantity of food you are served. The staff are brilliant, really attentive without taking away the intimacy of the table which I think is a very tough thing to pull off. The food here is cooked perfectly and there is a great choice of food including many specials.

  • 5 Fine dining

What a strange place to have such a fine dining and high quality restaurant! Based in a factory you really would not expect it! I think perhaps it initially put me off but once you are inside you would have no idea where you are eating! The staff are fantastic and so they should be – it would have taken you weeks to get a table so first impressions are everything, and they really do make you feel welcome. The menu has lots of different choices so all tastes will find something they enjoy, there isn’t a huge choice for veggies, but who cares about them?!

  • 5 Great food weird location!

I can't rave enough about how fantastic Mosaica @ the factory is! We had such a fantastic time! Usually i find that when something is overhyped, the reality never ever lives up to the hype. However, for once i was proven wrong and Mosaica did, in bucket loads. I was shocked at how delicious the food was. We had to wait an absolute age however in order to make a booking - weeks in advance. I'm usually the type of person that just turns up somewhere because i fancy a particular meal. You certainly can't do that here - you'll never ever get it! The food is made by gods and the service, even though its by students, is impeccable

  • 5 Weird!

When we went into the industrial estate, i never expected to find such a wonderful restaurant, especially not in a chocolate factory! When you walk through the door it is like stepping into another dimension! Mosaica @ the factory is probably the perfect place to take someone you love on a date - its so romantic and the atmosphere is intimate. Although the waiting staff are a little young, they are friendly and do the job perfectly. The food here is diverse, you do get a wide choice of specialities and the dishes we had were cooked to perfection. I'd agree with the earlier review that the steak was amazing!

  • 5 A rare find in a bit of a strange area

I heard about this restuarant through word of mouth & round the corner from my house.Hidden on an industrial estate is a magnificant restuarant situated in the old chocolate factory. I booked here for a special birthday suprise & had to book a month in advance for a saturday evening. We went onto the Clarendon Rd Industrial estate past a guard & opened the door into the restuarant which was like walking into a completely different space & time. The tables are heavy oak & set out for exactly the no of pre-booked people so no overcrowding. There is lots of artwork & candles adding lots of atmosphere. One of the chefs is ex-Zilli so there are lots of good fish & seafood dishes. We had veal steak & rare rib eye steak for mains both huge portions & a delight to my tummy. The food is reasonable for what was presented & the menu varies each day. The wine menu offers some reasonable bottles. The staff are very friendly often young students in the area from drama school etc.The quality is what you expect in a top class West end restuarant but better value for money. The chefs at the time that I visited had been previously working at top establishments. You will not be dissappointed!! This is the kind of place you may visit & decide to keep as your little secret. The Rare Rib eye steak was three hunks of beef piled up high cooked to perfection - my mouth is watering just thinking about that. http://www.mosaicarestaurants.com/
