• Hmm...Baker & Spice not a return lunch venue for me

  This review comes with a caveat. It may be an excellent place to buy pucca take-away food or buy cakes...but when it comes to lunch i would not go back.It just didn't quite seem to work. Choosing dishes from the counter that then came in rather large, over-the-top and over-priced portions was a tad irritating. I almost forgave Baker and Spice because the MonkFish was delicious but the meal did not quite hang together and I felt a bit robbed. I know you should expect to be a bit swindled in Belgravia but there are plenty of other places in the area that leave you feeling like you got an experience, meal and price that worked. I guess I might be tempted to get a posh take-away for home cooking but I wouldn't hold your breath.

• Delicious !!!

  This baker shop is really the best in London. The staff are very nice, the atmosphere of the shop is really pleasant and warm, and also all the products are beautiful and gorgeous. The range of products is very extensive and also they add seasonal specialities. They make delicious sandwitches, salads, cakes, and lots of different French bread. Last week I tasted a fantastic apricot cake and now it's an obssession, I have go every day to buy an one.....they're so delicious !
