  • 3 Strange place - different food

    This is an odd place. I read some highly critical reviews that were very disparaging about the service, but whilst it tends to come with something of a scowl, it is not that bad. Having said that I have been there for lunch on three occasions, each of which we have been the only diners, so we would not have expected anything but reasonable service. It is a Persian restaurant with an authentic menu and an exotic ambience. If you go at a time when it is busy, the tables for two are extremely close together, so I wouldn't recommend it if you don't want people to earwig your conversation. Food is not cheap and on my last visit I was not terribly impressed with the standard of meat in my Khoresh. But there are some interesting flavours and if, like me. you grow weary of Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisine it is worth a try. Wine is reasonably priced too.
