Jin Korean Restaurant serve a wide selection of authentic Korean dishes for lunch and dinner. Catering for private parties of up to 50 guests is available upon request.
I used to love this place. After one year I went for a meal with my boyfriend. Nobody could understand English. I wanted to order but it was extremely difficult. The weitress did not understand that I wanted kimchi with pork. I had always had this dish, it was on the menu like kimchi with tofu, but as soon as I said kimchi with pork, they did not understand.. I have asked her to send me another waiter. The new waiter did not speak englisch either but unlike the girl he was polite. After struggle we order what we wanted. They brought food after 2o minutes and it tasted exactly as I liked but to my suprise when I was nearly finishing food from underneath tofu alive cocroach jumped out. I was shocked, speechless,, so my boyfriend. Obviously if they had cocroach in meal it would be cooked and I would not noticed but this one was alive therefore I can assume the waitress, that was giving me bad look put it there but how can you just pick up cocroach and put it on someone place that is mystery to me.It was disgusting and therefore I will report this to appropriate places as well.

Jin is the kind of restaurant that is good to take a big group of friends or is equally good fun for a romantic dinner for couples. Its gimmick is that certain meat and vegetable dishes are cooked by your waiters on a hot plate at your table. The dishes worth having are the beef, the pork belly, the seafood, or the marinated chicken with a tasty, sticky teriyaki-like sauce. Their kimchee is really good and I have always found the service to be very friendly and efficient. It's a reasonably priced and fairly stylish place to go. If you're looking for an unusal bite to eat in Soho,I'd recommend it. I like it more each time I go.
