As the name suggests, this restaurant Vingt Quatre is open 24 hours a day. The menu offers a mixture of proper restaurant food (mainly served before midnight) and things you can eat at any time of the day or night, including beans on toast, eggs Benedict and hot chocolate. On Friday and Saturday nights it can get very busy so you may have to queue. Outside seating is provided on the pavement.
London Underground: Gloucester Road
If you're thinking that there's nowhere in London to sit down and enjoy some much needed refueling after clubbing, look no further - this place has the best Eggs Florentine (and other/greasier favorites) in town - it is a 24-hour restaurant. Beware, due to its popularity, you may have to queue outside and put up with drunken "sloanies" or getting a little cold/wet, however, the short wait IS worth it. Great tunes too, so you'll ease out of "clubbing mode". Plenty of taxis outside to take you home to bed too! PS. It is NOT a Middle Eastern Restaurant.
The best feature about Vingt Quatre is its' famed opening hours: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 52 weeks a year. The food is simple and it specialises in simple food - mainly breakfasts. However, Vingt Quatre comes into its own when you are not ready to go to bed and everything else is closed. It is a great bit of London knowledge and comes into use every now and then. It is in the lively part of the Fulham road cheesily known, or once known, as 'The Beach'. Near plenty of fun bars and pubs in that area.
