  A decent boozer in the Vauxhall area. There's some over priced competition nearby but the views, especially from the room upstairs make it well worth a visit. My only issue is that the music is always just that little bit too loud to enjoy a decent post-work chinwag of a Friday. Dancing is for much later so chill your boots for a few hours Mr DJ

• Quick and Tasty Food

  The Rose in Vauxhall is a great gastro pub within spitting distance of the Thames. Our table of 10 was served promptly and the food was great with particular mention going to their gournet burger and fajitas! It's pretty well priced and considering the lack of places to eat in this area of London it's a no brainer for a tasty meal!

• Happy hour cocktail specials every day

  Great alternative to the other more popular pubs in the area. Excellent atmosphere and drinks are reasonably priced. They have happy hour cocktail specials every day of the week. Definitely worth visiting.

• Great lamb shank!

  Just had another very enjoyable visit to The Rose. Opted for the Wednesday special, which was 'lamb shank'. Very tasty with good efficient service. Well worth a visit.

• Nice little Pub & Restaurant in Vauxhall

  Vauxhall doesn't have that many restaurants on offer which makes The Rose even more attractive. Nice, quiet little pub/restaurant with a pretty decent menu. I can reccomend the Lamb Shanks, very tasty and even with a drink came in at under a tenner!

• Decent, convenient, but not stellar.

  The food is pretty good, and it's great for lunch because it's not usually very crowded. Nice location, right across the street from the Thames. The only negative is that the service can be a bit slow. Has a pretty good after work crowd and has some tables outside.

• Nice Pub Grub!

  A perfect solution to the lunchtime munchies! They have a nice varied menu and friendly staff who understand the importance of quick service at lunchtime!

• Nice Steak

  Located about a 15 minute walk from the London Eye / Big Ben this little pub is an ideal lunch stop. The steak is worth having.

  Had lunch here. Nice decor, varied menu and quick service. Food was tasty too! Ideal for lunch on a working day.
