  • 4 Not for the sober

OK, so this is a fairly standard nightclub. It is pretty big and is on two levels. It gets very busy on a saturday but is fairly quiet on a friday. Best to get there 12ish as any earlier it will be dead. Not the nicest club in the world and there are certainly many, many better places but is good fun if there are enough of you there. I think it was £10 or £15 to get in which is a lot considering what you are getting for your money! Drinks are probably slightly higher than average London prices, which can leave your wallet very light as this is not the place to be sober. Very popular with Clapham graduates newly moved to London.

  • 2 Never again!

I went here on a Friday night which was my first mistake…It was really expensive to get in and there was no queue so I asked the doorman whether it was going to get busy later on and he said it def would (I was very naïve and gullible!) There was literally only about 20 people in there for all the time I stayed there. The drinks were ridiculously priced. Then a bar lady came on the dance floor giving us what we genuinely thought were free shots then tried to charge us £20 for them. When we refused to pay, four bouncers came over and “accompanied us” out (ie we got chucked out). We then walked down the road and got in to a free bar, which we stayed in for the rest of the night. The music was a lot better and it was packed out. we spent the rest of the night on the dance floor in there.I am usually happy to go to cheesy clubs but this was overpriced, empty and the management clearly wanted to test any scam they could to get money out of vulnerable and slightly tipsy young women!

  • 6 Cheesy night

OK, it's not as bad as the others make it out to be as long as you're fairly drunk when you get there and you're up for having a silly night. Let your hair down and it can be very enjoyable. It's not trying to be a trendy club so don't be a snob and expect it to be. Some of my better nights out have been in there. You do have to like cheesy music though but just get in there and dance! lol

  • 8 Infernos Night Out

Infernos is one of those places where you go with a group of mates and have a good laugh. It is not somewhere you go on your own or in a group of three. It is located at the top of Clapham High Street and the nearest tube is Clapham Common. Cheese music on the top floor and dance type music on the bottom floor. What more could you want? Get drunk go there and have fun. Warning - do not go there sober.

  • 2 Cheesy townie haunt

Infernos is the kind of place that you never WANT to go to, but invariably end up at on a boozy night in Clapham with a large group of friends. And indeed, this is the only time you would possibly have anything remotely resembling a good time there. Infernos is cheesy, catering to the lowest common denominator, the London equivalent of the "townies" of the North of England. Avoid at all costs, but if you do find yourself there, be sure to get drunk as quick as possible.
