• Great Laugh

  I have been a few times and it always entertains. The room itself isn’t huge so it’s quite an intimate and cosy experience. There is a bar area at the back serving drinks and food. I have never eaten here I can’t say much about the food. Obviously, it depends on the person as to whether you find it funny, but I think there’s enough of an array of comedians on the night to cater for most personalities. Most of the time there is an element of audience participation; just don’t sit on the front row! Great for laugh any day.

  I visited with a few friends on my birth day in June. What a line up, totally fantastic. Had many cocktails and had has such a fun time. Must go !

• The Comedy Store, London Piccadilly Circus

  Although I payed £15 to get a ticket or thereabouts when I first went, which isn't something I can afford daily, it was definitely worth it. The improvisation was fantastic, and although some of the things seemed a little unbelievable - the standard of improvisation was incredible, I had a fantastic time. There is definitely something for everybody as they explored all types of humor and really got the audience involved as well. The audience provided constantly the ideas behind the improvisations which made the whole show even more enjoyable, as anyone could take part and give in their ideas. The stage is fairly big and all the members of the show could be seen quite clearly. The Comedy Store does have some notable members and all the members that we saw gave very high quality performances, although some members were better than others which is to be expected. Overall, a must see if you have the chance!

• Really great atmosphere

  I went here a couple of weeks ago and had a brilliant night! I hadn't bought an edvance ticket and was advised when calling up to arrive before doors opened at 6.30pm to buy my ticket for the 8pm performance. I'm glad i did. I arrived at 6pm and there was already a queue of 20 people in front of me! Although it was quite expensive it was a really good quality night out with a good atmopsphere and with a bar that is not too expensive. Centrally located for going out afterwards or eating before hand. They do serve food here but only things like wedges or burgers..

• The Don of All Comedy Clubs

  This is the best comedy club around. This club gets some of the biggest names in comedy. I've been a few times and obviously it depends on who's there but Paul Merton was absolutely top-notch hilarious (see him if you can). It's a great venue (not too big) and everyone's there for a laugh. And for £15 it makes it a fairly cheap night out (London-wise) and I definitely recommend it. You're almost guaranteed to laugh (whoever you are!).

• Something different and cheap!!

  London prices are normally astronomical but here I spent £15 for the improv show of Who's Line Is It Anyway? and came of on top! Very good entertainment, especially for the price - definitely definitely go. I believe they have had most of the comedy greats play here.The venue is underground and feels kind of cosy. Everyone is there for a laugh. Didn't have any food but it certainly looked good and all the drinks were pretty nice too.

• FUNNY

  if you are at a loose end for how to spend an evening (wed or sun), visit the comedy storei kid you not, the wife and i had a fantastic night there 11th aug. £15 per head entry, but worth ever penny, the 5 comedians provided 2hrs of the finest improv i have seen. a type of 'who's line is it anyway' show where they ask the audience for themes and genres etc..then make up the most ludicrously funny sketches from them.josie lawrence and her accomplices apparently appear each wednesday and sunday.....i commend their show to you as a laugh out loud night to remember...sparky

• Very good fun

  I've spent two evenings here and both times its been brilliant. The first was your usual kind of night at a comedy store. The comics were brilliant and we had an extra treat in that Jo Brand and Jack Deen turned up out of the blue to try out new material! This was really awesome! The second time was for my sister's birthday and we saw the comedy store players, an improvisational show with suggestions from the audience. I wasn't sure what it would be like but it was really great fun! They were brilliant and I'd certainly go again for either show. Also, drinks aren't unreasonably priced and they also sell some food. I've had a brownie and ice cream which was good! I really love the comedy store and can't wait for my next visit, hopefully it'll be soon!
