Gowns About Town

Hadn't had to go blacktie 'do' since being a student - longer than I care to remember. Kim provided me with a beautiful couture ball gown,that fitted me like a dream. i actually went back and borrowed the dress again about a month later when amazingly another occasion presented itself. I am not sure when I'll need a ball gown again and that's the beauty of Kim's business. If I had bought something for the occasion, even knowing i would wear it again a month later, I could never have justified the money it would have cost to buy this beautiful gown. Kim accessorised it with a vintage handbag and shawl for free. Her approach is casual - I popped to her flat and tried her selection of dresses on in her bedroom. This just really suited me. I brought my kids along and that was fine. You won't find rooms and rooms of dresses and lots of staff here, but you will get a personal approach, some honest feedback and someone who is clearly passionate about the gowns they hire out. I will definitely use Gowns about Town next time I need transforming into a couture princess. I got comments on my dress at both occasions I attended from people I didn't even know and felt really classy.
