I have visited the restaurant on several occasions previously and mostly found the food cooked expertly, however I again visited on the 2 May .And had haddock in batter ,the batter looked great but when I opened it up it was full of watery substance,I complained and the waitress went to see the chef he sent it back to me with the comments its fine ,I sent it back again with the comment you eat it then. After several consersations with other custemer looking on they reluctantly agreed to rplace the meal .This time I had cod although eatable I felt that it still contained too much water ,I expect the cod to be white and fluffy not greay and watery.I hope that is not too much to ask .Has anyone else had the same complaint I
I had been waiting with baited breath for the institution of Geals to reopen. I was disappointed; the fish inside the battered rocks was lovely, but no fish and chips was worth this price. The restaurant was all style and no content. Finally the staffing was weird, loads of serving people who failed to notice anything and there appeared to be one person simply to stand around looking well, standing aroundish (they did nothing).
