WORST GYM EVER!!! BEWARE THE 1ST IMPRESSION TRICKS! despite the fact the building in Cricklewood looks amazing let me tell you the truth. the gym is being run by a bunch of amateurs between 18-25. There is cleaning staff hoovering between your legs any time of the day. dryers are repeatedly broken. sauna and whirlpool are consistently "broken" or "undergoing maintenance"... They get as many members as they can to maximize profits. between tuesday and friday the place is like a zoo!!! you have to queue for at least 10 minutes to use a machine!!! Any complain about the state of the place is met by an apology and that is it. there is no compensation, no gestures of good will, and this gym is basically just a money making factory. If you don't believe what i write simply make a surprise visit on a tue/wed/thur and see the state of the place... the only way to actually enjoy this gym is to come early in the day which is impossible if you work full-time, which is the case for most members. The pool area including the whirlpool is constantly bombarded with loud speakers with a screaming woman who does her water classes. its a stressy enviornment. AND YOU GET ALL THIS FOR £65 A MONTH!!!??? WHAT A BARGAIN!!!! NOT! if you want to freeze your account they charge you £20!!!! DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE. VIRGIN ACTIVE IS THE WORST GYM IN THE UK. The gym in Cricklewood (london) used to be Holmes Place, and it was a great gym. As soon as Virigin took over, it turned into another sub-standard English company!
