The Midwives Clinic was founded and is run by Independent Midwives. It provides maternity care and support that is based on the best available evidence, not constrained by local health service limitations. We offer one-off or more frequent appointments in which women can discuss issues specific to their pregnancy, receive a second opinion, learn about the range of options available to them, and access further support when making difficult or uncommon decisions. The Clinic is also open to postnatal women and their babies up to three months of age for health checks, advice, baby weighing and breastfeeding support.

Very reassuring, excellent service

I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and visited the clinic last week to go over my birth options. I found the midwife really helpful and reassuring. We spent all the time I needed going over my questions, and I left with a much clearer idea of what my birth can be like. I'd recommend the Clinic very highly.
