• omg!!!

  well im unsure of how to write a review on a company that are more like cowboys! i used this company for my wedding day in july and am so angry with myself for not looking into the company enough i rang them on numerous occasions and found them unproffesional on the phone, the limo didi arrive on time (so i gave them one star) but it was meant to be a white newish limo i paid more than fair price for handles were falling off the tinting was ripped off and scratched the floor had oil on (that i now have on my wedding dress luckly after the wedding ceremony) the driver was very apologetic but was more intrested in getting the money asap! the limo had ripped seats stereo never worked and the lights never worked there was a very large dent in the one side and then on the way from the church to the reception my childern myself and my husband were overwelmed with fumes from the exhaust my husband wound down the window only to not be able to fully and then the window stopped and wouldnt move at all! i cannot stress enough do not let this company ruin another wedding or special occasion as i will remeber this part of my day for all the wrong reasons!!also the cheap bottle of champagne they did manage to provide never even had glasses to drink!

• Lux Limos - Disgusting

  I booked a limo to take seven people down to londonon May15th 2010. When it didn't appear on time I rang to find out if they were running late or whatever. The receptionist on the phone then tells me that the limo has broken down and we would have to find our own way there. They weren't even going to ring me to let me know as in her words there was nothing they could do as they didn't have any spare cars so it was our problem now. I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody. It is appalling that they can advertise as they do. Their service and attitude is disgusting and I would rather walk than consider using this company ever again. Book them at your peril !!!

• Ruined the hen night

  I booked Lux Limo's for a hen do on the 8th May 2010. Firstly the number was always engaged. I never got a written invoice or an email. They were 30 minutes late and then in the wrong place so had to direct him. Wait for it!!!!! I have hired a pink hummer limo and what turned up was a clapped out party van which was on its last legs. I told the driver this was not what I ordered and he said he was an agency driver and if I did not pay he would not take us. I tried to call lux limo but once again they were engaged. I was nearly in tears! Imagine expecting a limo and what can only be described as a battered old van arrives. I have old spoken to lux limo once as I cant get through and they said they would come back to me in 48 hours and that expired today. I am discussing this company with trading standards and will be contacting watchdog. Be warned !!! They are scammers!

• Had an excellent experience

  I booked Lux Limo for my hen night and had an excellent experience. As far as the other reviews go, either they are just picking on minor things, have a habit of complaining or maybe they just had a bad experience at that time, either way dont let it put you off as we had a fab time! We were given our 6 bottles of champagne as promised, chilled on ice...the champagne tasted ok, and got us all to a merry start...we hired the pink Hummer limo which was amazing, it was baby pink with some amazing chrome artwork on the side - very classy and not tacky at all...The driver was smart dressed in a suit, well presented and drove the vehicle very well. He wasnt late at all, in fact, he arrived just on time...we arranged a pick up at 3am but by 2 we were pretty much ready to go home. We phoned Lux Limo up who quickly arranged for the driver to come and pick us up from where we were standing...got home safe and sound! we would be more than happy to use Lux Limos again and will definitely recommend to others too...

• A DISGRACE!!

  So i booked a 16 seater Stretched Party bus for my friend Garys 21st birthday, everything ran smoothly until 5:30pm on the night. I had a phone call from the driver sayin he was stuck in traffic and would be with us half an hour later than our booking, which would have been 7:30pm. At 7:15pm i recieve a phone call from Lux Limo saying the driver had been in a crash and that they were sending another driver who would be with us in 45minutes. So an hour later the limousine arrives not the stretched party bus that i had booked but a disgusting pink playboy limousine....it gets worse......inside it was messy as if someone had used it before us and the seats were all torn and ripped. So after a rollercoaster ride to nottingham we were forced to wait 30minutes down a horrible side street waiting for the limo to pick us up, followed by another rollercoaster rider home. The company are crap to say the least, so therefore ive taken them to court and won my case to get my money back.

• Lux Limo's - Do not book!

  If only I had read the previous review before booking Lux Limo. Our story bares a striking resemblance in that we received shocking customer service and nothing that we were promised. Upon booking the limo, we had booked the limo, chauffeur, 6 bottles of champagne, newspapers, gazebo, table and chairs (for a day at Royal Ascot). Our limo was 15 minutes late, and took an hour longer than we should have to get to the races. On top of this, there was NO champagne, NO gazebo, NO table, NO newspapers and 5 chairs had to be borrowed from another company on arrival at the races. On calling Lux Limo to complain at the time, we were spoken to rudely and told this is how business had always been done. To put it lightly, it put a complete dampener on our day. I would NEVER book this company again - and it disgusts me that this company can continue to rip people off in this manner. As the review states above, I have told everyone I know about this experience, and will continue to do so.

• Lux Limos - Dreadful, don't ever rely on or use!

  Booked a day at the races and had agreed to meet people at the venue at a certain time. Eight lads decide to book this awful business to chauffeur them to and from the track. All booked, timings, car colour, champagne agreed, with a deposit paid. We waited until 15mins after the pick-up time on the day (09:00) only to be told that the driver was 42 miles away but he'd be there at 10.00am! Not a chance! He eventually arrives at 10.50am, in a dirty, smelly and OLD white limo, that I'm surprised was able to get to us. Then, before he allows us to get into the car, he wants paying! Eventually I spoke to his boss, who did not applologise (kept saying it was a good price, and we should be thankful) he wouldn't move on the price and would cancel the job if we didn't pay up front! So, we cancelled the job, got a local business to do the journey for a few quid more, and we had a great day in the end. Don't ever use this company - they are a shambles, and they shouldn't be able to advertise how they do on the web. I've told everyone I know about the experience.
