first visit to see washing machine - 02/07/08. took a week to identify the problem. two weeks later-two men come to see what parts need replacing. leave the washing machine all open with all parts taken out (to the present day) phone staff rude and careless. three weeks ago i recive a call from the same 'bev' and she tells me that the engineer is sick and the spare parts department from LG have sent a part for a fridge instead of a washing part so its going to take another 3 weeks. i asked "her what am i susposed to do now? i am paying for insurance and you should deliver!" her reply in a bored and yet annoyed manner " have you tried taking it to the dry cleaners or have you tried hand washing - works for me!" so realising i was not going to win i said "can i PLEASE book another appointment" her reply " oh now you want an appointment? listen to me you are not going to get anywhere for another two weeks" as if rehersed before. only booked an appointment time when its convenient for them and not the customer. 15/09/08 - still waiting for part to be ORDERED! appointment was supposed to be today but the engineer fell sick again. their whole fleet of technicians always fall sick when you need them. at the moment i can confirm i have spent £130+ on laundrette services in the perio of one month. (thats triple what i pay for the insurance!) questions answered:: 1) had to - currys provided them 2)hmmm. frankly... Sh*t 3)thatsa joke! neva would i use them again 4)basically it could do evrything a whole lot better - a lot LOT better!

We have been using their service for many years. Th problem is it just takes daysto get an engineer to come and have a look. Then it takes days toorder a part, and then it takes days to to get another booking and they want you to be at home at their own period. If only they can understand that customers have jobs to do as well. They could ensure that customers get 2-3 days booking remeber that customers have to be at work or other things to do and be flexible with their time.

A visit was arranged for an engineer to call today to carry out repairs to our dishwasher and washing machine. At 0920 today Irecieved a call from "Bev" of SE Services advising me the engineer was off sick. I advised "Bev" that I had used up the last of my leave days to be at home for the engineer and the next call would have to be on a Saturday - to which I was told I would have to pay for a Saturday call - with both products under guarantee and all my leave used up- I thought this attitude was atrocious. "Bev", quite frankly, didn't seem to give a damn, and took a tough luck stance. My extended warranty was going to be sent off this weekend - but after this debacle "not in your dreams" - BEWARE!!
