• Nothing special but it's good

  The place is more like a canteen, on the crowded and noisy Kilburn High Road. I had chicken fried noodles - they weren't the best I ever had but not the worse either. And it was really, really inexpensive. I will be back? Probably yes.

  Brilliant. well cooked authentic thai food at a fantastic price. Tempted to tell no-one about it just to keep it too ourselves. Except the people who run it are so nice they deserve the success.

• Probably the best resturant in Kilburn

  I love this place. The food is very good, portions are large and most of the meals cost just under 5 pounds. Really, they could easily charge twice that. The chefs cook in plain view of where you sit. So, you can actually watch your food being cooked. The staff are nice and friendly. I always feel good going there.

• Tasty Thai at recession-busting prices

  Spicy Basil, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...your authentic tasting thai food...your home delivery service...your smiling if a little disorganised staff...the loving way in which you prepare the food in front of me to order...the crunch that your vegetables always have..and most of all...leaving you for the 20th time with my king prawn green curry and steamed rice and an actual 20p left out of a fiver...for all that, I can forgive your long saturday queues and seating area lit like a school canteen...for freshly cooked comfort food under a fiver, Spicy Basil, I can forgive you anything.

• fresh asian cooked in front of you

  this is a very good small restaurant in kilburn.however, its very good simply because any food ordered is cooked in front of you!the portions are huge too.if you get some noddles you only pay £5 poundsit will fill you up so much!no need to order anything else beside!they also serve fresh juices, try their carrot&orange next time you go there.they also do take-aways.i would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to enjoy some thai food!if going there with your girlfriend the max bill you'll pay is 13 pounds including soft drinks.
