  • 10 I was absolutely starving

I visited Absolutely Starving because I was absolutely starving and the name of it caught my eye. It is one of the busiest shops in the area which is normally chock-a-block full of tourists. Therefore the shop normally has queues out the door, don’t be put off by these though as it really is worth waiting. The food you can buy in this shop is AMAZING! It’s fresh and tasty, my favourite are the sandwiches which come in loads of different varieties and all of which taste amazing. They also sell loads of other tasty treats such as soup. I always stop inhere when I am going past because the food is just too good to resist. I really do recommend this place to anybody and everybody.

  • 10 Delicious food!

When you first see the queue for this shop, you might be forgiven for thinking that is exactly what you will be when you reach the counter. Absolutely starving. However that is not true at all. The queue is also there for a reason. The food is delicious and its not a secret anymore! The bacon baguettes are my favourite - the bacon is so crispy and tasty! However they have quite a varied menu so all tastes will find something they enjoy. Their soups are also known far and wide and they have a changing menu for these as well. The bread they use is also delicious and so soft on the inside and crispy on the outside!

  • 10 Absolutely Starving?

Absolutely is sited in one of the most visited tourist areas in London. Owned by Eco group, you will discover a shop packed beyond capacity at lunch with queues for soups, sandwiches, and salads. If its name is not enough Absolutely Starving is also renowned for its egg and bacon baguettes, spicy falafel wraps and chicken mulligatawny. Absolutely stocks a varied range of products from pg tips and Heinz baked beans to foie gras and goji berries. The customer base is predominated by the surrounding city offices, locals on their way home and those who work out at the fitness exchange next door. Absolutely have a dedicated delivery service catering to the large corporate’s in its immediate vicinity; offering an exciting menu, combined with a huge trade in hampers.

  • 2 Absolutely no way im going back.

I used to love this shop, i really did. But now, i don't. I worked at Hays Galleria around 1998 and made Absolutely Starving my second home. The food was fresh and the staff were friendly, but thats all gone. A new job took me back to London Bridge 9 years later so i went straight back to said deli and started ordering. I gave them three chances to sell me some decent food and they failed each time. The first sandwich i bought was from the deli, a toasted one, which was cold. The second was again cold and the third was off. When i complained about the off one the rude guy behind the counter was very reluctant to give me my money back. All in all, avoid this place. It looks inviting but the food is crap and the staff even crapper.
