• Fantastic Salon!

  My first impression of the salon was the lovely friendly atmosphere. As it's a Soho salon I did have concerns about it being 'too cool' but everyone seemed to be very smiley without the usual bitchy undertones. My stylist was very nice and did a great job of understanding/explaining the texture of my hair and what would work for me. I was overwhelmed with a choice of complimentary freshly made Latte/Cappucino/Esspresso's and I even had a couple of glasses of wine as well as a water while I waited for my hair to process (in some hairdressers I have had to pay for this)! I left looking fab with gorgeous hair and I can see now why my friend has been trying to convert me from my old salon to this trendier alternative. Overall a wonderful experience that comes highly recommended as an alternative to the mainstream, high street salon.

  I have followed Joe Mills career since he worked in Kent some years ago, I make the regular trip to the Lounge every six weeks to maintain the best cut and style I have ever consistently enjoyed. Whats more I am sixty, and he treats me as an individual, I have found from past experience that when a woman reaches a certain age, most hairdressers have no idea and no interest! I also use Lucy for colour who is also sympatico and extremely creative at coming up with a good combination of colour to make the best of my hair. The service overall in the Lounge is good and attentive, nothing is rushed, just the right pace, with plenty of refreshments etc. Any older women out there who are fed up with their local usual service, take the plunge and go and talk to Joe Mills at the Lounge, he will give you the time, the cut and style to suit you.

• Great Salon & Cut!

  Great looking salon, very laid back, with friendly stylists. Oh and you get a beer/wine thrown in! Will definately be returning, great cut and an overall 10 out of 10.
