Specialist Services:

JEMS performs a professional service and is committed to the highest standards of excellence. Both the Principal and two Senior Valuers are former consultant valuers to Garrard, the Crown Jeweller. Principal Valuer is the officially appointed Consultant Jewellery, Gems & Silverware Valuer to HM Revenue & Customs at Heathrow Airport. Principal has recently valued the world's largest certificated 'perfect' diamond, weighing in at over 200ct and worth several tens of millions of US dollars. Fees are charged on a 'time basis' (per hour) and are not contingent upon the value of the property (not a percentage charge).

Services Offered:

Independent Jewellery, Gem & Diamond Valuations for any purpose (Insurance, Probate, Divorce, Cash Liquidation, etc). Modus operandi is usually a 'Visiting Valuer Service' (i.e. performed in the comfort and security of the client's own home/office or bank). Official Valuation documents issued with coloured digital images, if required. Principal Valuer has been in the jewellery industry for 45 years and is a former Chairman of the National Association of Goldsmiths Valuations Committee. JEMS also provides written Reports for use in non-litigious dispute situations and undertakes Expert Witness work.
