Hampstead Cuisine?s style, approach and individuality is why so many people have attended workshops over the years. The approach is unique and Chico gives a running commentary and explanation about each ingredient or component used; differences in olive oil grades, the lillian (onions, leeks, shallots etc) families, why sesame oil sometimes needs a carrier, the importance of saut?ing spices, the salt and sugar components in bread making. This collage of information is to demystify the art of cooking and sometimes it means going back to basics in order to get a thorough grounding and understanding of cooking essentials which so often this level of information and detail one cannot find nor read in glossy magazines Keywords: cookery course, cookery school for beginners, cooking courses, French cookery courses, Italian cookery course, Moroccan cookery course, Thai cookery, vegetarian cookery course, Chico Francesco, Hampstead, Cuisine school, childrens cooking, childrens classes, celiac cookery, pasta cookery course, bread cookery course, cookery school in London, cookery course in London, cooking for men, cooking for women,

The entire concept is quite remarkable, the coffee meet and greet left me a little uncertain when I first arrived as I felt this was way above my small limits! The course did teach me so much about cooking and skill and so much extras what goes on behind a commercial environment like hotels. The training was excellent and the school's dining area through everyone at the deep end which included champagne, something I was not expecting. well done to this operation!

I attended a workshop here hosted by Chico and Maria. For me, this has to be the most exclusive school in London and I have been to a few now. The cooking studio area was well organised, the format of the day was very well organised, the hands on workshop was both fun but for me, more importantly informative and educational. Chico really does know how to teach and explains the processes which otherwise often is not talked or discussed. Also valuable consumer information about olive oils, sugars, salts, knives etc. I would recommend this establishment without reservation. The best however, was the incredible rich private restaurant the school has which was not opened to us until the very last moment, it was rich in colour and environment and for me respresented a private chataux dining room.
