  • 5 best turskish grill in the Brick Lane area

I've been to Tas Firin very regularily ever since I've arrived here in London and it is always delicious, fresh, perfectly cooked and their meats taste fantastic ! Ok, the decor is really dusty, the service is quite cold, but we come for the food, no ? Definitely one of the best turkish grills of the place !

  • 5 Amazing Turkish

I've eaten here at least 5/6 times and the food has been consistently great. I have the mixed kebab, always cooked to perfection and comes with a lovely onion salad. Service is polite and attentive. Toilets are functional rather than those in Sadams palace.

  • 1 Food Poisoning

Went to Tas on Tuesday evening, thought it would be nice as I have not visited in a very long time. Appalling service, disgraceful toilets and to top it all a few hours later we were suffering from food poisoning which has left my stomach unsettled a few days on... a total no go zone for me and my girlfriend.

  • 5 The best East End Turkish......

Although the decor is an acquired taste and the seating arrangements a little tight this authentic Turkish restaurant is a must if you are in the vicinity of Brick Lane. Tas has a great variety of classic Turkish starters, aubergine salad, lentil soup, various types of meze. The mains are quality aswell with a great selection of charcoal grilled meats, adana, kofte, chicken, cop shishs are prevalent aswell. They do two types of fish, sea bream and bass which grilled taste fantastic. Their tava dishes which are a type of casserole are really filling and taste superb. They also have pides which are a type of pizza which are cooked in a charcoal fired oven. My favourite dishes are the aubergine and lamb kebab closely following by the mixed grill...all washed down with a couple Efes. Tas is super reasonable and the staff are exceedingly friendly...well worth a visit.
