  I have to say this is my favourite Chinese restuarant in London currently. So much Chinese food is watered down into so-called 'fusion' that it loses much of its character. Choys keeps this character but has adventurous dishes you wouldn't find on your typical China Town menu: braised pork in a garlic stew, for example, and unusual but delicious fish dishes. The staff are always extremely courteous and the decor - whilst not modern - is pleasant and unpretentious. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and highly recommend it. I only hope it doesn't go through a modernisation process that involves a 'new' pan-Asian menu... I always recommend booking for Chinese New Year.
