  • 3 A lovely evening!

After being recommended to this restaurant we decided to try it. The welcome was good and the steaks we both her were so tender I managed to cut mine with a spoon! More than big enough portions and the flavour was devine. My only small criticism was the additon of the service charge without being informed! A real pet hate of mine! It also wasnt detailed on the bill - they just added it on themselves which is why we queried it. Would definitely go back there though!

  • 1 A Bad ending

The food was average. Everything tasted a bit too salty. However, I can live with that. What disappointed me was when my server asked me if I wanted to give him an extra tip, when a 12.5% service charge was already added to my bill. I told him that a service charge was already added and he said to me (insistantly) that I received complimentary fortune cookies, so an extra tip is required. What a bad way to end a meal. Without saying, I will not go there again.

The Peking Duck is probably the best thing on the menu here. The chicken in chilli was not what I expected. It was as if they had cooked the chicken then covered it in chilli sauce. The chicken itself was pretty much tasteless. The environmental health authority in Oct 2007 gave them one star and a poor rating for compliance so not a place I can recommend until an update is received. A quick peek into the kitchen downstairs pretty much says it all. Take a look!

  • 3 not good anymore

THis used to be my fav chinese restaurant few years ago. They used to do the best dimsum and meal. i think they change their chefs and it's not worth going anymore cause i thought it's quite pricey. I also heard they recently got closed down for 3 days cause they don't comply with hygiene standards
