  The internet is perfect for this kind of stuff. Had the same experience as Jusmy, blind robbery. They gave me a price but couldn't commit to it on the day, called through the day to get clarification and they said it was more than expected due to the parts (not labour) and then when I picked it up it was even higher. They are cowboys, total cowboys. Started changing the subject with plans for the weekend so got the patronising part again like Jusmy. If these garages just did a good job they would get repeat business. thanks to the Internet they may stop getting new business.

  Same kind of experience as Jusmy although I can't confirm whether they left the car in a worse state as it's recent work. They wouldn't ever quote the exact price and the cost went up and up. Got the distinct impression they're desperate for work. The owner was a cowboy. In my opinion a good garage will quote and stick to an original price on parts and labour. Real shame as they used to be ok.

  Very unprofessional, untrustworthy and generally poor service. I was patronised, ripped off to the tune of £550 for what I later found out should have been a £200 job. Turned out, after getting a second opinion, that they even returned my car to me in a dangerous state with loose bolts. They won't even give receipts unless you threaten legal action. Avoid Wadham like the plague.
