Why is it that when I explained to your collegue that ALL residental phone services charge per minute and not per second your company did not offer to put us back on the 0870 number (at 7ppm)??? Am I your only domestic customer??? "We can assure readers that Abel Alarm Company Limited always endeavours to resolve any problems that may occur with its customers and at no time do we ignore any problems a customer may have in the hope that it will go away. " Err.... why is it then that this has gone on for over a year and is costing us just under £900 per year in extra phone call charges??? I appreciate that it is difficult for you to respond without all of the case details but will you state here, in public, what your company's policy is when customers are on residential phone lines- do you use the 090 number or another? Our alarm was taken over by Abel Alarm and with out telling us they changed the monitoring number to a 09001517617. We have discovered that each time we set and unset our alarm it now costs us 60p(ex vat). To date they have refused to resolve the situation and we are considering legal action. This is costing us hundreds in extra call charges per year. I annoyed that I have to give them one star for this review.
