Electrepair

I have spent the last 9 months attempting to have my toshiba television repaired. Electrepair managed to render my TV totally inoperable after attempting to fix a minor fault. They do not answer the phone. They do not return messages. They do not deliver any sort of level of service. They take your money and run. BEWARE!!! I am taking them to the small claims court to sort out my problem - you'll probably end up there too if you igore the warnings on this site.

I took my nice new stereo in to be repaired - a simple change of tape-heads was needed. 3 months later it eventually came back, but the problem remained. Was charged £80 for this. They took it back and tried to fix the tape-heads again. This time they returned it scratched to bits, as they had not even bothered to package it during delivery (& it was still unfixed). They then took it back, and were unable to fix the scratches, so promised a replacement. 6 months later, and no replacement had arrived, despite numerus phonecalls. A personal visit, and we agree that I can buy my own stereo and claim the money from them. 6 weeks later, and no sign of the cheque. I will keep this site posted on how things develop.

Quite the most inefficient and unprofessional company we have ever experienced. Reading the two good reviews also defies description as they both certainly do not reflect in any recognisable way the service we received and in fact are still experiencing. Whereas the other bad 2/10 review is exactly in line with our experience. Take your choice of the reviews but you have been warned!

I have used Electrepair for many years for repairs to obscure equipment from electronic flash meters to ancient hi-fi quality equipment. Although they are busy and overworked I have always found them helpful and the repair work excellent

This company has held onto my video player for over a week after the date that they promised to call me with a quote. I have left many messages with them, at different times of the day. Nobody answers the telephone at any point of the day, and the staff have failed to return any of my numerous messages, where I have left three possible contact numbers to insure the option of leaving a message if they cannot speak with me directly. They also claim to have a website which does not actually exist and to date have not replied to my email either. I am astonished and disgusted by their service and would not recommend the experience to anyone.
