• Needs someone experienced in charge

  L'Olive could be good, but there are problems to sort out before they can justify their prices. The small restaurant looks stylish, and the young staff are willing, though handicapped by language difficulties. They made several mistakes with our order, and similar problems happened with two other couples while we were there. I saw one man at another table get up with a sigh and take the cutlery from an empty table so that he could eat his meal. The prices are too high for the level of service - starters around £7-8, main courses £15-22, desserts and cheese around £7.50 each. The actual food was good when it arrived, but the service and timing need to be much better before they can charge these kind of West End prices in a South London suburb. I'd say the food is French-influenced, not classic French.

• Nice French Fresh Food

  Finaly a fine dining french restaurant in this area !The restaurant is brand new and very clean.The "French Cuisine" is authentic, well done by a young french Chef. Everything is fresh and made with a lot of taste for a very good value!Ideal for a romantic evening ;)
