• reliable not overly exciting

  Good lunchtime place for Students and workers. Grub is plentiful but not inspiring. One of the best things on the menu is the Curried vegetables, the Tofu dishes aren't bad. The fired Rice is pretty greasy. The sweet and sour chicken comes in small meatballs with heavily oily soaked batter. Overall a good refuge on a cold day but not that uplifting.

  I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic Chinese food . Even the ambience is authentic to the the places you would find in Hong Kong or Malaysia.Food portions are very good and service quick. The kitchen staff will cook to order ( within reason!).Unlike the previous reviewer we have never had greasy rice and if you order the wrong type of Sweet and sour chicken its going to come in batter balls!I and my wife have been coming here for the last 15 years and try to eat here when down in London because it is so much like eating in cafes in the far east.Try their crispy Pork its delicious. The singapore fried rice is also very good and can be made a spicy as you like.Maybe I should n't write such a good review because as soon as people try the Green Jade they will be always coming back and I might not be able to get a table!There's only 4 of them!
